Projects
A portfolio of green data center developments.
GreenDatacenters develops digital infrastructure as a line of individual projects, each following the same integrated model: power, fiber, cooling, energy storage and heat reuse designed as one technical system on a compact footprint.
Project Zevenhuizen is the first development in this line. Additional locations are under evaluation as the development line grows.
Current developments
Projects in development.
Location fit
What makes a location fit the line.
Not every site can carry a development of approximately 100–150 MW. Before a location enters the development line, it is assessed on the same factors every project in this portfolio shares.
Grid position
01What the regional grid can realistically deliver, assessed before anything else is committed, including the sequencing of capacity over time.
Land and spatial fit
02A compact footprint with development rights and a spatial-planning context that can accommodate large-scale digital infrastructure.
Connectivity
03Room for diverse fiber entry routes, planned from the earliest design stage rather than negotiated after the design is fixed.
Heat off-take nearby
04A surrounding use for recovered heat, such as greenhouse horticulture or a heat network, so a by-product becomes local value.
